BRUNCH: CAMDEN MARKET

"Are you a Market/Street food
kinda' kindling, if so, read on"

It was a fine, rather frosty Morning as I decided to endeavour on a quick trip to Camden Town for some Brunch. Firstly I have no shame in admitting that my sense of direction is definitely not my for and so I was able to navigate my way with the help of an app called Tube Map (I will succumb to all levels for food) and although I am currently suffering from a rather excruciating state of embarrassment, I shall no longer dwell on the subject and let you know that the Northern Line will take you to Camden Town Station, the Market is a 3-5 minute walk from there and is open seven days a week from 10am-6pm.

The Market itself is quite an intimate one however still has a wide range of international food stalls, from South/East Asian to Spanish/Italian/Mexican etc so you should undoubtedly take a stroll before you choose your pick or else *points to thyself* you'll have your full from the first stall in sight only to encounter regret. You can get a full list of the stalls online at camdenmarket.com, you should find most of them mentioned on there anyway. As far as the price is concerned, I would say prices were unquestionably average.

The Dutch Pancakes were wholeheartedly glorious, nutella, bananas and light sugary dusty goodness. I'll be thinkin' about you tonight.

Overall it was a nice and airy atmosphere, the folks serving were easy to speak to and almost all of them were lovely enough to give out tasters (most of them were halal which was a bonus!) leaving me in a huge dilemma and so all I could do was apologise and say "Next time!" I certainly will be taking a trip back sometime to try more of the delicious cuisines and snacks. Feel free to come along ^_^

Disclaimer: Apologies for my out of focus photography, that tends to happen when I'm around food...

ON MY WRIST: LIMA TEAK BLACK STRAP WATCH

"Adding value to a small piece of wood with good design"

Athough the designers motto was inspiring enough to attract my initial attention, I couldn't resist to purchase this beauty as soon as I laid my eyes upon its humble design. Lima watch, an Indonesian wrist watch brand which is made up of all the elements that get me feeling nostalgic, swiss movement with a teak frame, mineral crystal face, leather strap and a stainless steel buckle with a black PVD finish. Hello, beautiful.

I never imagined in a million years that it would be possible to sway away from my antique love, the classic Casio (which still holds a firm embrace over my heart), but it happened, yes it did. Lima love all over my wrist right now, a full action of handmade goodness. If I'm correct the watches are now available to order internationally through a website called, thegoodsdept.com which is where I ordered mine and received it after a brisk two weeks. However stay alert of those deadly import charges folks (grrrrr), and so in order to save yourself the horror, its best to calculate the approximate charges before ordering. You can do that via dutycalculator.com.

Neverthless the parcel arrived beautifully wrapped in kraft paper tied with a simple black ribbon. Although I wish I had been the ideal blogger and taken a picture of the packaging, by the time the thought crossed my mind the watch was serving it's rightful duty on my wrist. However the watch itself is presented in a minimal Lima wooden case, making it a perfect gift and also comes along with a six month warranty. Lastly, the fitting of the watch, as for those whom have dainty and somewhat feeble wrists like thyself, there is no need to be concerned as this watch has it all covered, being a unisex brand it caters for both male and female and so fits nicely. In a nutshell the combination of raw goods, handmade execution and minimalism is what makes this watch a pleasure to wear.

If you're interested in seeing more Lima contemporary designs you can visit Lima Watch on Facebook, Instragram and on their website.Thank you for reading folks.
